Has anyone else seen Saturation the snowboarding video by absinthe films. It is soo damn good. There are no rails and almost no park . It's mostly really sweet booters and all kind of natural terrain. It's super progressive. The guy who made it, Justin Hostyek, said he sees snowboarding getting out of the park and going back into natural more creative terrain. I think he has a good point an since generally snowboarding seems to be ahead of skiing check this vid out to see what's next.

This year I hope to see more kids incorporating newschool with big mountain riding and getting out of the park.-Matt Levintal

It's really,really damn boring. Only Nicholas Müeller's section is worth watching,and the other guy who wallrides the huge dam. I don't like snowboard rail tricks too much,but this movie was just booter after booter after booter and bs 7 bs 7 to bs 7. Afterbang is the shit.

Whateve it has some of the coolest creative booters,lots of sweet natural terrain and big mountain stuff. Also it has a bunch of sweet filming angle, many no else is using like the follow shot of some big mountain riding.

lame skids3 and video gangs are good. I really didnt like the shakedown though, it got me less pumped because of all the crashes. Jeremy Jones had a good part though.

I second Mike-O's oppinion, Saturation is really long and repeditive. Their first release Trancendence was their best. The VHS version with the Beatles song and the bunny suit as the final segment was totaly the shit, undfortunatly they had to loose the beatles song on the DVD version due to copyrights shit.

i didn't enjoy saturation all the much..
the dam thing was cool..and the box on the forklift was cool..but other than that..not that great..

and what was with the whole political message with the fall section at the end..why did they flash shots of george bush in there?

out of the snowboarding videos this year..i'm gonna have to say back in black and lame were a lot better..

yeah I didn't like saturation as much as their other vids. vivid from last year is tight. didn't see the other one though. I would have to same that Lame is the best film I have seen period. ski or board. I love the feel of it.
