Not to sound like an ass but I think we need to remember and move on. We cant just always do nothing on that day. Yea its sad and messed up what happen. RIP to all that were involved. My cousin worked in one of the towers, she was running late to work and was spared. But come on, we do need to move on or the people who did these acts win.
ii think thats the major reason why. i mean no doubt there is some underlying reasoning with choosing that date, but labor day and two weekends after are usually huge release days. at least thats what i think. i might need a helmet though.
i know this is kind of irrelevant, but even if we don't do anything on that day, the terrorists don't 'win.' my ap us teacher last year emphasized this point a ton. sept 11 was a spectacular failure when the true definition of terrorism is kept in mind. think about it, most americans probably don't know why we were even attacked, or they think it was just because of religion. so the terrorists didn't really accomplish their goal at all
if you dwell on it than its going to be a big thing for a long time and dem "terrorist" will have kept that fear in our lives. by doing that, its a force of power over us all. with dat powa de cancontroll or channel us in one certin direction.
