I just read part of that book for the first time ever today, funny this would pop up.
I want to see it. even if tucker is an ass, and a self proclaimed one at that, still looks funny.

Slingblade is the best part of whole book, such a relatable charecter haha but movie really isnt doing it for me based on that trailer

I was fully about to make a thread about this cuz i just read it... i managed to convince the group of girls in my 12th grade english reading group it would be a good book to discuss. Of course i hadn't read it at the time.

All i can say, is this book should in no way be related to high school.

The book is simply a retelling of true insanely hilarious sex stories.

And that if you havn't read it, you should.

Honestly there was so much crazy hilarious shit but my favorite part is when...

They are at Denny's at like 3 am, completely shitfaced, and no one comes to serve them, so their one friend disappears into the kitchen.  And when they go look for him, they see him pouring pancake mix onto a griddle and he says "I'm making me some flapjacks!"

Dude, that's my exact train of thought.... because these stories are ridiculous.

but i decided the way he tells them is exactly the way he honestly remembers them. and the pictures lend credibility..

i think the only reason they might not be true is because of the fact he was drinking throughout them, which alters your memory.

he's also built a lot for him to live up to in each story... if those stories aren't highly embellished, i'll get on my knees and suck his cock.

let me find the Vegas story- i found a number of "huh?" parts in there... one of which being how he got past the HUGE guards outside the bathrooms at Tao nightclub- from my experience, they're VERY good about making sure people use the restrooms alone.  the part about the stall door being glass that somehow goes from clear to frosted is accurate, though... pretty crazy when you're fucked up and suddenly the glass goes all-white when you lock the door.
