i have a 98 i love the thing, next to no complaints.  Alternater has died a few times but i only paid for it once which is just inconvient more than anything.  I would deffanatly say go for it.  I live in the adks (i think you said you were from albany in the other forum so you know how driving is there) with all seasons in the winter and its only been sketchy a few times.

On a different note i HATE what they did to them.
