This friend of mine that i 've had for a long time is starting to head down the wrong path. He is hanging out with some seriously shady ppl. He is also drinking alot and smoking weed like a chimney. he also started smoking cigfarettes to top iot all off. He is still really cool when he hangs out with me but ists weird cause i know what hes gonna do when he leaves. I just dont want to see him fuck up his life at 16. I just want to see what u guys would say and any advice you may have. thanks ns.
Guys cut him some slack, regardless of all of your different views he's just concerned about his friend..whats wrong with that? However, I also agree that it probably really depends on his personality/lifestyle to whether or not he can handle it but just talk to him and be there for him and keep an eye out for him.
If your friend is starting to be awesome, and you don't want to be awesome with him, at least leave him alone. When I started smoking weed I lost some friends because they thought I was immoral or something and now 4 or 5 years later they all just started smoking weed and now they want to hang out with me.
Yeahh my life is so fucked. I smoke weed 6-7 times a day for the past couple years. I drink alot too, never alone though. It just sucks because im about to graduate from college in 10 months. What a bummer.
People are always so defensive of smoking weed. It's such a touchy subject. I mean in all seriousness, keep an eye out for your friend. It doesn't feel great to see kids start to get into this stuff, it's one of the first real signs of losing that childhood innocence. Chances are, your buddy will turn out just fine. Weed isn't the demon plant it's made out to be. If he's truly a good friend he'll always be there and he won't let partying come between you two.
