short, super poppy turning feel from the flex and camber, while still having some ability to feel surfy from the rocker and taper. A little scary on cliffs but do well if you land well(on a decent slope). On skis this short with a medium flex throughout mounted back a few cm(dunno where reco. is but that is where I was on them) I would imagine that being backseat while landing cliffs is a big no no, but all that means is grow a pair if you are landing backseat into pow! check TGR for more reviews. What is the intended use for you(be more specific than "powder" or "everything")?
as in touring, hiking, traverse out and back into resort or what? If you are not charging variable conditions these would be a lot of fun. I bet they would tour in pow decently too. What bindings were you thinking(if by BC ski you mean skinning, were you thinking Dynafits, Dukes, or something else?)
