A girl in my grade from my school was at a camp in Wheeling,WV when heavy storms came through last night. (I live in Pittsburgh). She was sleeping in her tent when a tree fell on her and killed her instantly. it basicly took her legs off her body. Such a tragic and freak accident and can not belive someone who i knew and was only 14 is dead.

A camper died at Emma Kaufman Camp, after a tree fell on the teen.
Leah Blum, 14, was injured when a tree fell Wednesday night at the Emma Kaufmann Camp, located outside Morgantown.Blum was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital but didn't survive her injures, the Jewish Community Center said.According
to a news release from the center, heavy rains weakened the tree, which
is why it fell 35 feet onto Blum’s tent at about 6:30 p.m.“The
construction of the place where Leah was is a tent facility that’s on a
wooden deck,” said Monongalia County Sheriff Al Kisner. “The report was
that she was semi-conscious but at some point after that she did lose
consciousness.”Kisner said several of Blum’s fellow campers and counselors attempted to save her.“I think it’s an act of nature -- one of those bizarre freak accidents, unfortunately,” said JCC spokeswoman Cathy Samuels. The camp has called in grief counselors to help campers and staff members cope with the loss."The
family was notified immediately and our camp staff has met with them
personally," the center said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers
are with them."Emma Kaufmann Camp, owned and operated by the
Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh, is located on Cheat
Lake, about 70 miles south of Pittsburgh.
i just talked to my friend who's a counselor and she said the camp is in shut down mode. i feel terrible because it's something she looks forward to every summer and i know the campers love it there too...something that is such a great experience faced such an awful tragedy.
yeah, nothin screams GANGSTA AS FUCK like burberry and a tall t...- eazy_cam_steezy.

"yeah im not the kinda guy who flies around and is like YO WHATS UP MY NAMES CHRIS I'M RIGHT HANDED AND I LIKE TO PARTY"--chris...
sorry to know you have such little decency. i would crack jokes at 911 or the holocaust...anything really...but an individual 14 year old girl dying a gruesome death so close to a member of this community? you must need a ton of attention or something. individual threads are different.
"Why would he pee in my butt though? Couldn't he just go to the bathroom beforehand to avoid this?"
i live in the small secluded town of juneau alaska where a few days after graduation, drunk driving accident. a kid who's had his diploma for all of about three days, dies. it was a huge deal. no parent should have to outlive their kid. i don't know what i'd do. month later another kid is hiking on one of our local trails with a few friends and falls down a 500vert avalanche shoot. needless to say... and i knew this kid really well and its hard to lose a friend [if your interested....in my videos i have one of him stompin' a front. his name's cameron.] and yet. here we are three weeks later and another kid of here was hiking in arizona, got dehydrated, and isnt with us.
thats three of our youth in two and a half months.
really makes you think about your decisions and what you have control over and what these three great kids did/didnt have control over...
