How to soften your landing for big up rails?

wats the best surface to  have for a high up rail thats soft an forgiving so u dont slam into the ground

If you're lucky enough to have an old mattress use that. It absorbs the landing and keeps your bases clean. Plus it's soo much fun

Anyway you could get a big big pile of hay or something like that? It would absorb the landing and keep your bases semi clean.
