Ski Sizing >.

Last year was my first year skiing and i rode 159 silencers.  During that season i weighed 110 lbs and was around 5'4-5'5. 

I found a pair of 159 k2 disorderlys for sale at my local shop for around 300$.  Back around when i bought them i was still 5'5 and wasnt growing much so i thought the sizing would be fine

Now, its summer and since i started working out, im around 125lbs now and am around 5'6-5'7 tall.  Will still riding a 159 ski make a big difference? negative or positive.

or should i return the ski and get a size around 169-171?

oh and i live in the east coast (ontario), ski 70% park and the rest grommers.

Since you seem to be growing fast I would go with the longer skis, plus you can always grow into them. It's kinda personal preference too, on the size of the ski within a certain range. Longer skis will be faster as I'm sure you know. If it was me I would go with longer

longer is the way to go cuz like prince a said u can always grow into them

depends how far away your shop is.  At your size they should still work fine all mountain, but another 2 inches and you'll not have enough edge for all mountain.  Also, afer a year of freestyle, you should know whether you prefer rails or jumps.  For rails, a ski that size is perfect.  For primarily jumps, not necesarily.  best of luck, KiP

Its a lot of personal preference but longer the better for me you are growing still so Ill give you my work gimick. Size by ability level chin- beginner nose- intermediate forehead/how tall you are- expert
Just think shorter the ski the more control you will have of it, the longer the ski gets the heavier it is. also the longer the ski the cooler you'll look(too an extent).

Alright il take all of your advice into consideration.  thanks alot every1.  Maybe il find a good deal on a bigger ski at the ski and board swap @ the ski/board show in october.

if i do look for something new, il go for something like 169-171 atleast.  But would anything around 178-181 be too long and ridiculous?
