I search barred and didn't find anything but if its a repost my bad. But I'm not what you would consider an amazing park skier. I'm ok i can three and 270 of boxes, so im wondering if i afterbanged if it would be chill or not.

Just do it, be chill feel good about your skiing, afterbang and make it better every time. You don't have to be able to do a double cork 12 or a cab 10, if you can do a 3 and make it look good and calm I respect that. Do what is fun for you.

agreed...the way i see it, afterbang cannot be forced. if you do force it, it usually doesnt look that steezy. when you stomp a trick clean, even if its just a 3, you will usually afterbang without even knowing it IMO

AFTERBANG IS A BAD HABIT.

it makes you look like a claimer, but sometimes your shit is so hot it needs to be claimed. as long as your not banging tricks that are too easy for your level of riding your good to go. like when wallisch bangs switch ups, its lame, but when he bangs the nastiest cab cork 10 its legit

i know dood once somone comes up with a new trend everyone thinks that they will get judged doing it. to tell you the truth all the good steezy skiers afterbang naturaly it just happens for them if you force yourself to afterbang (like andy parry traveling circus haha) it will look ugly.

And don't get me wrong. I think every skiing trend has it's place, and in the right hands can look just fine. But when you get countless threads asking how to afterbang, should i afterbang, how big should my tall tee be, that's just too much for me. Do your own thing, you'll be better off for it.
