I work at my local cemetary mowing and weed whacking all day and we are required to wear ear protection. I've been using my standard iPod headphones and just wearing them under the ear protection. However, its getting really annoying and hurts my ears after a couple hours of use. I'm looking for a pair of around the ear (not on the ear) headphones that can block out the noise of a commercial lawn mower and can be used with an iPod. Ill be using these headphones next year in college too. Any suggestions? Im tryin not to spend more than $60. So Boise (sp?) are out of the question. Any ever use the Sony noise canceling head phones? any input would help. Thanks.
i dunno if its a design change since the pair that i warrantied or just a chance that i got a bit tighter ones... but my skullcandy lowriders block out noise really well because of how they fit (i use them for mowing and weedwhacking and i dont have to have my music on full blast)
and i also have bose noise cancellilng earbuds and they dont work at all. yes, i have tried the different size buds and none work and i do know how to wear them. my zune premium earbuds are better.
so actually there are two i recommend.
-skullcandy lowrider (tight fit, less noise comes in)
-zune premium earbuds (blocks out sound like nothing ive used)
- aspirin is perfectly legal, but if you take 13 of them motherfuckers it'll be your last headache.
