so my friend just got an MRI on his back, and found out he has a fucked up lower vertibrate or something, and can't do shit now. No swimming, wakeboarding, trampolines, any active thing like that, or... just no fun.

what did any of you do to pass time with injuries? just... anything to pass the time besides sitting inside all day.

that's terrible, sorry to hear. tell him to watch a tv series. when i gets bored he should try and master something random. make sure to get friends together and chill and do stuff that he can be included in cus if ur out wakeboarding everyday he's gonna just get depressed.

yea, the camera thing is a good idea.

doing music stuff too, like guitar and stuff.

any ideas like... maybe sport ish wise? like... a good idea my friend had was pool.

anything else anyone can think of like that, that requires some amount of skill:?

do this and charge the kids. i know people who make a ton of money doing it, because kids are desperate to get home so they won't get caught and they are drunk/high and will pay more

after having 2 acl surgeries and not able to do shit for a while after both, i know that this man speaks the truth
also a lot of movie watching and when i was crippled i spent some time emailing and sending letters to companies for stickers

the giving rides home thing is a little stingy in my mind (if it were my friends) but i do see how that could make some cash. either way not old enough to drive until like next summer.

the learning to knit thing is... im not sure about knitting.


hes really looking for something kinda productive... like gym time,
but that would fuck him up too.

the whole no swimming thing is kinda the biggest bitch of it all.
