epic trailer there.  I started skimming last year and really like it.  Still a beginner though, so a few ?'s.  Is low tide generally better for flatland skimming and high for wave riding? 
I have a Zap fish with a weight limit of 140 lbs, but this year I weigh about 145. 
I know it will be harder to float, but am I at risk of breaking it if I'm over the limit?  The sport seems designed for midget groms! 
And finally, how do I generate enough speed to reach the beach break?  Tips to go faster?

i know... but they were black spots in the water, not necessarily sharks, because unless they are those harmless ones that stay at the bottom and dont hang out in waves, that would be plain stupid

get a good board for shorebreak riding. to get going a little faster, sprint like normal towards the water, and just drop your board when needed, like right underneath you.

most importantly, get a board that fits you, the board might not break, but it will dig in and you might break. My cousin broke his leg because he is 30 pounds heaver than me, and was over the limit

dude you made that trailer?  thats fucking sick wow.  just started two summers ago and find it to be more fun than surfing.  some of the riding was killer the 3 shuv on the wave was definately my favourite. 

and was that a sea doo tow in that I saw?  fucking crazy shit.
