The homework sharing cult has been long dead, but i was just started a Correspondence Answer Sharing cult. Everyone should join and post all the answers to the exams. This will allow all of us in highschool to get done with correspondence fast, and get high school credits fast. This cult is gonna be run simply for everyone who is searching convience, there is one thread that will be stickied for all questions. For every subject there will be a thread created, for each correspondence program (american schools, north datoka, bringhom young, ect).

Example:

American School, American Literature

I'm not gonna lie, i lolzed all over the place when i read your thread title and post. If you would put as much effort into actually doing your homework as you invest in trading it online, maybe you'd sound properly educated? So the simple answer is just copy it at school. haha

good effort, but i really doubt that its going to work for kids in different classes at different schools to effectively share homework. create a wiki-type site or a facebook thread with kids in your class to share hw and stuff

Ok, so someone has to study and take these exams in order to pass to share their answers. And you are just going to copy them, to pass your test, to go skiing.

So really, you're asking the smart kids to pony up their hard work so you can soar by for free? How about you just quit being a lazy shit and educate yourself some. Your parents would be proud, don't you think? Not to mention, it would benefit your to know the real answer rather than what you copied off some kid on the internet.

YES!! when people would ask me for answers on tests and worksheets, i always gave them the wrong ones. i already did my homework, why should i have to do yours too?

do you ever get the feeling that someday 50 years from now there will be an argument before the supreme court and one of the justices will say "pics or it didn't happen?"

I'm not really disagreeing with your main point, because if you don't do your homework and need to copy on tests, then your an idiot.

But, I am in my Junior year in HS, I finished with straight A's, and didn't do homework once. I knew everything in all my classes, so I talked to my teachers and made an agreement that I would take the tests, and if I got 100% I wouldn't do the homework and still get an A.

Point is, smart kids don't have to work hard. I was taking easy classes this year, but I also took the AP music theory, Gov, Calc  BC, and Bio tests. They all went as well as my AP US test and I got a 4 on that so they should all be passing, and I didn't take any of those classes.

dude, either your school is mad easy or you're a freakin genius. hats off to you man, im jealous. i mean im a pretty smart kid (im a junior too) and i can get away without doing homework most of the time, but most of my teachers are hardasses (im in all honors and one AP) that dont grade that easily. idk maybe its where i live. im in a rich part of northern jersey and we generally have really good school systems that tend to be real strict and tough. we're easily harder than any of the many catholic and private schools around here

Correspondence is a way to get high school credits without being in a classroom, meaning you can spend more time skiing.

So not at all, you see when you send in a correspondence exam they mail it back corrected!! all the answers are there, so you share those answers and take answers from the same people that gave you the answers.

ok, but what about you getting free high school classes, so that you can graduated with only taking 2 or 3 classes in the school, so you can be out of school in the mourning, then just go skiing. and you get free answers so you can get credits as well. it goes both ways here

Just because you aren't in the classroom, doesn't mean you shouldn't learn the information, right? You're still copying. You're still jipping yourself. Correspondence isn't a way to get high school credit without actually learning, right? Otherwise, yeah, I do have it all wrong.

yeah thats true, but you said my idea was just having all the smarter kids do the work for the dumber kids, thats not true, you could be a idot, fail all you exams, but they still send them back corrected. if there are other kids who dont care to learn american history because its not going to do them any good in life, then they are jipping themselfs by being in a classroom learning it. expecially when they could be skiing

Yeah, that was before you explained what correspondence was. And really, I shouldn't have said the smart kids, I should have said the productive kids. And I do see what you're saying, but I still think its a cop out. You should just do the work yourself. You'll feel more accomplished and overall feel better about yourself.

And I hate the whole "high school teaches me nothing for later in life" - its untrue. You don't know where your future will take you.

it seems like a good idea...but first off, i doubt it would ever work between multiple schools. Most teachers make up their own tests or classes are slightly different. And you know some kid would somehow screw everyone over by providing wrong answers etc.

and in the end, you have to learn some stuff or else you're a flat out embarrassment to society. For example, if you were born, grow up, and live in the US, you should know a little bit about it.  Skiing is great and all, but in the end there is some stuff that you really ought to know.

first semester this school year i had a full six classes at school. second semester i started two correspondence classes, and only had three classes at my school. that meant i was able to ski from about 1045 am on every school day this semester (started about half way through january). i have almost completed both, when i do ill have an extra half a credit, compared to if i just took a full six classes at my school again. plus i was able to ski so much more. this idea and cult is for every skiers benefit who would rather copy some answer to some bullshit class like health, history, planning your career, clothing?, food study, ect. i know what im going to do for my lifing when im out of high school, so i dont need these waste of time classes to keep me from skiing.

keep giving me lower karma if you want, or call me lazy, i dont give a shit, i know a trade where i can make hundreds of thousands right out of high school, and im only a junior. i dont need to waste my youth's ski time in a classroom anymore then i have to.

i do know. but even if i was one of the kids that didnt, most kids know that some some classes are just not going to help them in anyway. they could benefit from this cult

i agree with about half of what you said, most of the time its way easier to just do the assignment rather than worry about copying it.

but for about 75% of the people i know, 85% of the things we learn in school have no bearing on anything we're going to do later in my life. Most of the work in high school nowadays is pointless busy work just to make it look like we're learning. For the kids that haven't figured out what they want to do with their lives, then yes, most high school classes are important. But if a kid wants to be a lawyer, then calculus should not be the foremost thing on their schedule. In my opinion, high school should be more like college, at least for junior and senior year, where kids could meet with their counselors and discuss where they feel their future will take them, and take classes correspondingly. I, for instance, want to become a surgeon. For med school, i need mostly science and chemistry and biology, and some higher level math. But AP US History, along with AP LA, while they are easy (for me at least), they are also an exceptional waste of my time. In both of those classes, i don't take notes, i don't read the books in AP LA (except in some cases when i actually want to read because the book is quality). It's the same for many of my friends. We're all pretty smart, self motivated kids, who don't have a problem doing the work, but i feel that forcing us to take classes that don't pertain to our academic desires is irresponsible. Instead of just bullshitting easy busy work, we could be learning something that would actually help us out in college.

just my two cents. i'd like to hear what other people think about this

I absolutely agree with what you're saying, and think it would be beneficial for high school to be run a bit more like college. But, what about the kids who have no idea what they want to do with the rest of their lives? I know that at 15/16, I had no clue. I know I could have catered my classes to be more to my liking, which would have allowed high school to be way more interesting. But being positive on what I would be passionate about when I was 20+ was questionable.

Yeah, that's the tricky part. For the kids that honestly have no idea, i still feel that they probably have something that interests them a lot more than other subject areas, so they shouldn't totally neglect other areas of study, just maybe take two science classes instead of a history class or vice versa. Even just a small area of interest is enough to greatly improve a high school experience. If there's a class that is just mind numbingly boring to someone, and they're not going to try in it, and it's just the worst hour of the day for them, they should be able to switch out of the class into another that holds something for them. But it sounds like we're both coming from the same place, so... preaching to the choir.

yeah, for an example, i live in alaska, and we are all required to take alaska history to graduate. that class was 90 percent busy work. i took it at my school. i spend a semester sitting in a classroom, doing busy work like drawing a totem pole for a week and a half! why the fuck does anyone need to waste time drawing totem poles. i know someone who took that class correspondence and got an A, and they completed the whole semester class in a week.

the purpose of high school is to educate you with the most basic general knowledge so you are prepared to go to college.

yeah it's boring, believe me, and i went to a math and sciences school and i kept saying mom, i want to go to arts and music school, but i couldn't. and then i failed physics and chem with a 57% which makes no sense. either way, i wasn't going to be a doctor, and your school life probably sucks too.

but you know, if you're too lazy to study, or just at least try to learn something then you don't matter to society because they need self sufficient individuals even if you're not a leader in life. no one wants to be bothered with the person who doesn't do their share and keeps asking questions.

the point i made out earlier is i was never good at school, but i never applied myself and still got the minimum requirements. i also learned through paying college myself, that you still have to take STUPID classes you hate, like french if you're a quebecer, even though you're fully and competely bilingual and have spoken french since you were 5, but you don't havea choice if you want to graduate, so you sit at the front of class and take notes. that's the only way you learn when you hate shit, if you ever make it to class.

but wtvr, you're young. i just think you're pretty lame if you want to make a free essays online forum kind of thing, because you're lazy :)
