if you play defence proton + is the only way to go. If you play mid or attack clutch is the shit.

Actually the width of the bottom of the head has to be a lot bigger than most of the heads out there now.

They are making new heads though like a new Proton power i saw recently.  I was wrong saying that the old Proton and the helix would be legal though

Proton + if you play defence, Cutch if you play mid or attack.  I lpay defence and personaly have an Xcalabur and love it.

What with all these defenders and their old school no pinch heads? the proton and the original excaliber has no pinch. Defense men have to play like middies and attack men now a days, you need something with some pinch

much easier to knock down passes and scoop up ground balls with a wider head, and catching in general is harder with a pinched head, so with a longpole you usually need a wider head.

well i knock down plenty of passes, so what if i have to move the head a half an inch more? the scoop is just as wide, and easier since once the balls in the head, it stays in better, and i catch just fine.

if your good at lacrosse, none of this should be a problem for you. maybe im just THAT good?
