Neat little site, you type in an artist name or band name and it shows you a web of influences for that artist.
I'm still going to have to say that Dark Side of the Moon takes it though, I just don't see the beatles as being on the same musical level as floyd. The diversity in mood, theme and instrumentation is pretty hard to beat. That is just personal opinion however, if you're talking influence I would be willing to agree with Sgt. Pepper's.
I agree, that site is definitely not a great source, but interesting nonetheless.
Besides, couldn't you say Elvis was greater than the Beatles? He had as many number one tracks, and he did it far faster than them. At the end of the day it comes down to personal preference.
On that note, what makes the Beatles the best ever in your opinion?
