Getting Summer Internships
So, just wondering about how to go about getting an internship, particularly at a hospital or something, as i'm interested in pursuing a medical career. Anyone got one/has hook ups? advice?
and no, i didn't searchbar, but i don't want to spend time sifting through 30 pages of junk to find one good one
I would talk to the volunteer director they are usually good at placing people into job shadowing, which is what I did, but if they cant get you an internship they most likely know who can.

Chances are you won't get a paid internship at a hospital. Usually it is just volunteer work. Your best bet would be to look at science oriented business or pharmaceuticals for an internship, though chances are you are probably too late for this summer.
You also may want to consider taking classes so you can be certified to be a PCA (personal care assistant, they help nurses) or to be a Paramedic. Either of those would get you some ok money and you would have something good to put on your resume.
