lol, i cant even backflip, but i can tell you that switch spins are easy as crap. you just gotta prctice.
1 1st thing's first. LEARN TO FUCKING SKI SWITCH. you guys may think you know how to, but every day i go to the park and almost nobody can ski switch right (whis is my local mountain :P). if you really wanna learn, listen to turpin on this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQKVUBXVSkU
2 now that you can kinda ski switch, or wish you can as well as turpin, go practice it. everything in that vid is completely true, and insanely useful. go have a fun day with your buds, dont go in the park once, and ski the whole day switch! thust me, this is sooo much fun. but either way, get a ton of practice in before doing switch tricks off jumps. (you may be able to throw the trick, but i can guaranteee it sure wont look like youre the hottest skier on the mountain). if you find yourself having to spin the wrong way, usually it's because you suck at turning switch teh otehr way. this is where you gotta practice your balls off, even if it feels really wierd and uncomfortable at first.
3 so you now dominate switch skiing, sick. go off a small lip switch. do not do your first sw 180s off a park lip! just find a iny jump on teh side of the run and sesh it for a little bit. *note: carving off the lip helps immensely with your spin, but if you start going off the lip at 45degrees, you got a little too much carve XD.
4 switch threes are a ridiculously easy trick. as long as you keep your head up and look at your landing, you upper body will not even have to spin 180; your legs do all the work :D . if you are catching your tips (falling on your face), sliding out and not keeping your edge on the lip (falling on your back/ass). remember to: (problem 1) spin AFTER pop. if you still are catchign your edges, you probably are carving into the lip enough, try doing some really carve-y sw 180s then step it up to the three. (problem 2) go back to step 1 & 2 cause you need some more practice!
5 switch fives are all about commitment. in your mind, separate this trick into a sw 180, and a 360. both of these tricks are pretty damn easy, so just try to do em together! start looking to land the sw 5 as soon as you are off teh lip, and keep looking for your landing. *note: do not be tricked and start looking at the landing once you reach 360! this will usually result with you desperately trying to stop your rotation so you can land switch, and ending up with a swithc 450, which is pretty cool, but th part where you eat shit once your edges bite is not.
im kinda tired, so i hope this all made sense and helped.
see ya switch five -ing!!\
