I can understand your viewpoint. I find myself as more of an independent kinda person, but im more of a right side guy most of the times. I dont agree with obama on a lot of things.. I didnt vote for him and i dont really like him... And if i saw some people having a "I love Obama" rally i would call some of them morons.. (not saying that you love obama or anything, i have no clue).. But i hope you can see my point.. Im not trying to argue with anyone but just saying that everyone is going to have their own viewpoints and its their right to have them.

Oh for sure dude. "Joe the Plumber" was just a guy during the campaign.. And i agree he has nothing to do with politics. Hannity just has him on because he is a celebrity pretty much now. And Hannity wants a lot of ratings, hence the country western singer.. hahah (BTW i saw Joe and the country western singer from commercials i didn't watch Hannity's coverage..)

Yeah hannity is just a big fat faggot. I would rather watch kieth olberman than hannity even though I am conservative. I hate the new brand of conservatism. It is more about big spending, fruitless wars, and saving babies than what I truly believe in. I think it is an oxymoron to call it conservative since it is really a new political ideology, which I suppose coins the oxymoronic term neoconservative.

I found quite a few things wrong with this protest. One was that tea partys were started by the libritarians and focused on obama and bush. Republicans stole the idea and turned the energy into hate for obama. I hate that this was portrayed as a small town, little people event, eventhough it was organized and funded by corporations and blatenly promoted by fox news.

Also why are republicans suddently so worried about taxes. Your guy spent 8 years giving the rich tax cuts and everybody else stayed the same while he dug himself a huge deficit over a pointless war. But republicans wouldnt speak up then

im pretty sure people are pissed the high earners are being taxed, or going to be taxed a shit load. He's not talking about himself, but everybody in this country that deserves to keep their money. It doesn't matter if he's elligible for tax breaks, rich people and companies are going to get the shit taxed out of them and thats going to stop investment and not be good for this country.

But bush gave lots of people tax cuts not just the rich. I think the tax cuts were a bad idea since there was already a war but the war should have never been in the first place.

These people are basing this off of the Boston Tea Party. Anyone with an elementary history knowledge realizes that the BTP had to do with taxation without representation.

Now, these taxes are not without representation. The American people voted, and the majority voted for Obama. They have every right to bitch, just like most liberals did during the last 8 years of hell, but to suggest that its "without representation" which is what the ORIGINAL tea party actually stood for is just stupidity.

A large majority of Americans have this terrible obsession with bitching and moaning about stuff when it becomes convenient... Spend your time more wisely rather than standing around with a bunch of stupid signs looking like complete idiots.  Congrats, you're the story of the week.  Now whatexactly did you accomplish again?

alright, i listen to conservative radio and one guy that is entertaining to listen to is Mark Levin.  yeah, he gets off in weird spots some times but overall is really interesting to listen to.

Threads like these always make me think about how much better the world would be without so much  media coverage and people who really cant support their arguments. The two combined together just make everyone in the US look like idiots, which may or may not be true. That being said, I do think that waving signs around in the air and shouting racial slurs about our newly elected president tends to swerve more towards the "idiot" side of the US...

Now i know im going to make a huge rant here, in which non of you liberals on this site will ever agree with me on, but I really think you should just clear your mind and think about the founding principles of this country( cause thats how are constitution is structured, off principles, not party's) and apply it to today's time. Ben and the rest of the liberals on this site, do you think that Obamas spending is good or bad, considering that his defecit is higher than all 43 presidnets in American History combined in only the first 83 days of his presidency. I mean come on, your seeing these uprisings in his honeymoon period, imagine what the fourth year is going to be like. He has gone hay-wire on spending, its rediculous, the uneducated majority of America voted a man in to the Presidency that doesn't even trus int our economic system. The person you guys but in charge of taxes doesnt even pay his own, and your making an argument about how Obama is a good american because he paid his taxes, its rediculous to even say that becasue as a citizen of the US, it is your responsiblitly to do so.
Second of all, to everyone that is calling this an "Republican Rally", than your an idiot. Did you see any republican congressman or senators there? No if your looking for the answer. Its about bringing back the conservative principles that were first implemented into our Constittution. Now there is a over reaction on the left side, there almost claiming that we're wanting to bring back gov't. that resembles that of the Articles of Confederation, which was influenced primalry by states rights and had a very weak central gov'.t. Us Conservatives dont want to do that, we want the principles that were formed at the Philidelphia Convention way back in 1787 to be maintained in todays society.
Liberals policy is weak and undefined. You guys claim that "its our policy that made immigrants in the late 1800's and early 1900's come to the US", were as it is indeed the complete oppisite. It is the hard working attiutdes of the American people, the self-reliance on succedding in buisness, the right to life, liberty and the persuit of happiness that defines America and why people come here.  But Obama is grabbing your hand, sitting you on the couch and spoon feeding food into your throat so you dont have to pay for it, talk about sitting on the toliet and shiting out all the American Principles. So how dare you say that these "morons" dont know what there talking about, cause the cold hard non-opionated truth is, you dont.

Fail on multiple levels. Yes there were governors at those tea parties, yes senators have spoken out in support of them. It was a republican rally, period.
