ok, i have to respectively disagree with this statement.
i think it is far easier to pay attention to a hott teacher than an old hag with horrible breath, or even than just an average looking teacher. this is especially true if the teacher knows how to use her looks to her advantage in teaching (some really fucking do).
just think about it though, would you rather learn math from some old hag, who smells bad, has a raspy voice and is painful to be around, or a 26 year old, five foot six, blonde bombshell, who is kind and makes little cute flirty remarks and shit all the time. when she suggests you stay after for extra help, you will be like "FUCK YEAH!!" and you will pay attention during class as well, and probably even do your homework, especially if she gets all excited and happy for you when you get it done, because what is better than impressing a hott girl?
plus, shes hott, which makes her really easy to pay attention to... when your listening to someone talk, your supposed to be making eye contact/looking at them for facial movements, hand gestures, ETC., so you can recieve the message they are trying to convey more fully, and you are definately going to be more focused on a good looking teachers movements and expressions.

i had this hot math teacher once
well we thought she was hot
then over time we realized she was a shitty teacher, and she was a bitch. the more i saw her, the less attractice she got. she was also getting married soon, so she kinda seemed like she was trying to look unattractive. like me and my friend still remember this one day, she was wearing like this blue collared shirt, but like a guys one, that was kinda big, and her hair was all greasy looking for some reason? ehh, the shit i took later that day looked better than her
