I´ve been using the teneighty boot for two seasons, third just started. The inside shoe is perfect but the shell have got bigger. When I bought them from a guy who used them for one season they were perfect. Now i cant get the two lowest clips tight enough. my heel wont stay still and that is not comfortable. I got the advice to glue a rubber sole under the inside shoe then the foot would be a bit higher and the problem would be solved. i tried that but my heel wont stay still even if I have two extra soles so it didnt work that good.
So Im now asking if somebody now if there is anything you can do about this or should I just get new boots?
it's called packing out...
for future reference, buy a boot that is very tight at first, I mean possibly even painfully tight... it'll break in and be perfect after about 5-6 times out
As far as fixing your problem, go to a good shop and ask for a big heel wedge... they'll take up that extra space in there... if there's a lot of space, get a heel wrap too, it's a thing that looks kinda like a butterfly and wraps around the back of your foot.
good luck though, heel slip sucks

Some kid who lived on my floor freshman year came into my room and said. 'I'm never touching the internet again.'
'I was bored, and I typed in shiteaters.com, and there is actually a shiteaters.com... and they were eating shit. The internet is sick.'
Never buy used boots.
'And shepherds we shall be, for thee my lord for thee, power hath descended forth from thy hand. That our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patrie, Et fili spiritu sancti'-Boondock Saints
roger that... a boot breaks in to the shape of your foot, so if someone else had it first, it's their foot.
One more thing you could try: I think that boot had a heat-moldable liner. You could try having a shop put it on the heater, because that makes the foam expand... dunno if it works on an older boot, though

if you cannot get around the foot tight enough, try putting an 1/8 inch thick shim under your foot (under your whole foot), it'll take up more space than you think, also, if you don't already have em, look into footbeds, that'll lift your heel a little as well.
did you try putting the clips on the tighter setting?
I have moved the upper clips to a tighter setting but you cant move the lower so they would get tighter. it is the lower clips that is the problem for me...
