L/R Skis??

Ok, I got a pair of the older dynastar candides a few weeks ago and noticed something i havent seen before (i havent been skiing in a long damn time though)..both skis have a mark in the center, what looks to be something like an indication of right and left, but if that's the case then i have both lefts..which sucks...but all the same, does anyone know if that's what the little mark is or is it just something to indicate the center?
might be a stupid question, but like i said it's been a long time since i've been around skis, i just got these cause i'm movin to colorado soon and got a good deal on 'em.

nope, theres a little line on the left side of each ski...so actually i'd guess if it is a mark for sides then they are both right skis...but they seem to be symetrical so would it even really matter? i know most skis it doesnt matter but i never seen a lil mark like that before

you worry too much i dont even think anybody makes left and right skis. they just make them look the same on both sides quit worrying its okay there isn't a left and right ski

yeah, your right, i'm worryin too damn much..but i just wanted to make sure so i knew if i needed to send them back or not...thanks. i didnt think it'd matter, but hell, i dont know...mighta been something new they were tryin out or something...i had a pair of big feet way back in the days and i know those were l and r but..they look like feet so that's pretty obvious...anyways, thanks.

dude....look on your boot. there should be a little arrow that aligns with this marking you speak of.....it's the mounting point for the binding (unless this is different)

Unless you got some ghetto assed race skis there is no left and right ski they are symetrical to eachother

back in the day, really wide powder skis had a left and a right because they didn't mount the binding in the center of the ski...
