hell yeah it makes everything go in slo motion so u can see everything excellent. seems like you have more time in the air to complete the trick. makes it hella more fun too, what have u never tried?

smoking takes away any hesitation that might 'NORMally' hold you back, and it gives the sence that nobody else even matters, or is even on the hill, it's not for everybody, but but it can really enhance the experience.

fried cheeese does have a point... hurting your kneee and hitting trees is an issue. It depends though, A little will just calm things down while a whole bag full will fuck you up. And I hope you were kidding when your like 'Tanner smokes up everyday... I think I will try some.'

Dont smoke because other people do it and they can ski well.

If smoking is already a part of your life then you are able to incorporate that into skiing.

If smoking isnt part of your life dont start when your skiing.

the fact is that if you are a good all around skier smoking helps because you are much more relaxed, and your skiing skills take over. That way when your in the air you just have to think about the trick you are doin and you will automatically do it without it looking all scetchy. you have to be a good skier though. if your some east/midwest gaper who can go off a jump, but doesnt know how to ski into a jump or ski out of it you shouldnt be smoking.

and whoever said you get fucked up off herb is a fucking idiot. smoking and skiing if safe if you know what your doing. drinking while skiing is completely different and pretty scetchy - i dont recomend it. last year i almost killed myself straightlineing through a 3 foot wide chute when i crossed my tips after about 6-7 hard drinks at the mid mountian bar at 10,000 feet. After that i cased an 80 foot hip and snapped my pistols in two.

i wouldnt say that it makes everything in slow motion, i would say its more like a sequence, witch helps because insted of your brain seeing one motion you are in stages in the air and that helps u be alot more fluid with grabs

im pretty sure it wouldnt jsut give you an edge, some people prefure it and have more fun with it+ plus will add a more laid back stlye. but tanner hall isnt the best in the world because he smokes weed, so dont go on thinking that

Shit if tanner smokes, well then fuck, I want to ski like its all a video game too. Weed is the magic ingredient to be pro, the reason all of us here on NS aren't pro is because none of us have ever smoked before, we're not cool....... Yea, wizen up fucker, smoke if you want to, its chill. But skiing drunk isn't all that great, it was pretty fucking difficult, but the rest of the day got wayyyyy easier when i sobered up.

-If people don't want 'Posers' in their sport they should quit skiing and take up knitting. I highly doubt that anyone 'Poses' as a knitter. -Jibtech

oh man.... i love smoking, ive never done it while skiing though, it never occured to me. maybe i'll try it. the best part is the muchies man. last night i ate an entire box of wheat thins, and a bag of cookies. it was awsome. if you havent done it, do it just so you can say that you at least tried it and your not all ignorant about it.

Why wouldn't you smoke pot if it made you better at skiing?? If there was some magical herb that made me better at skiing I would take it for sure. But actually I see your point, that pot won't make you better.

For whoever was saying that it makes you look better in the air and such because you can focus on the trick only, from my expierence, it doesn't make you look better, but you think that you look better. Which is also good, confidence helps alot in skiing. But I don't think that you actually look better.

this is personal pref. first off don't smoke unless YOU want to. If you go through your life trying to be cool cause yoiu do everything other people do then you will never be your own person. Second pot doesn't make you a beter skier. especialy if you don't realy smoke much. pot will slow reaction time and can through your balance off. sure I can ski and be stoned, but I personaly am not as good of a skier and am not on my game 100%. for me when I ski big mountain I can't ski high cause I don't have the balance and cant be 100% focused.

do what you what because you want to not cause T does it. bottem lin, be your own person.

I have to say i enjoy it. It makes things so much more fluid for me. I dont really get better but everything feels smoother and it's really just a fun time. Skiing tree's with shitloads of powder in them is badass though, i can pick out lines through tree's a lot easier. I can still ski park pretty well stoned but i dont feel as good as when i'm sober. You just gotta go ski and feel the flow. I wouldnt recommend smoking and skiing unless smoking is part of your lifestyle. I'm never afraid i'm going to hurt myself because i feel in control at all times. I dunno thats just me.
