Subway Newbs Make Me Mad

 So today i walk into subway, gonna get a nice footy subway melt on italian herb+cheese toasted. as soon as i walk in i see the chubby guy waiting to take my order. every subway has a chubby guy who knows how to put together a fuckin sandwich, he just knows the perfect amount and the right way to put toppings on, cut the sandwich, etc. all of a sudden he walks into the back for his lunch break and i almost start cryin as i see this little skinny indian chick who can hardly breathe, let alone ask me what kinda sub i want, step up behind the glass. so i tell this girl i want lettuce, onions, green peppers, a little bit of jalapenos, southwest chipotle sauce and salt and pepper. and im watching her put this stuff on and she just fucks shit up so bad i dont even bother telling her that the onions are falling out or you missed the fucken sandwich with the chipotle sauce or you put two pieces of lettuce on because i know she is a Newb. so i just tell her its fine and pay for my shit and get home and open unravel the subway and realize she didnt even cut the sandwich and there is just shit everywhere on the bread, i cant grip the thing without getting chipotle mess all over my hands and she basically ruined my subway experience.

so sorry i just need to vent and im bored. also im wondering if your guys' subways are similiar and if you have had similar experiences with the subway newbs and the chubby sandwich artists.

basically im never getting subway again unless i know its gonna be the chubby guy.

i hate when they go to put mayo on and then a huge glob comes out... but instead of just spreading that glob out, they go back and forth, back and forth with more mayo

Everyone who works at my nearest subway is such a dick. I get my footlong toasted chicken teryaki on honey oat with lettuce onions and green peppers and sweet onion sauce every time and they never make it properly.

IM THE ONLY ONE IN THE FUCKING PLACE. ITS NOT THAT HARD TO FUCKING PUT SOME LETTUCE ON A DAMN SANDWHICH. motherfuckers. im thinking about getting a job there to show them how its done.
theyre just so lazy. i mean... i say i want lettuce and they just shove their hand in the lettuce container and toss like 5 pieces of lettuce in the general direction of the sub. at least try and make it look nice you fucking cunt.

i get free sub sandwhiches at my local subway(claim). this guy got in troublle with some assault and battery shit and my dad (lawyer) got him off with a years probation. everytime i walk in i just order what i want. gives me the sandwhich, asks how my dad is doing then says have a good one and walks to the backroom. its fuckin awsome. he really knows how to make a sandwich too.

our subway is run by this asshole indian guy. hes cheap as fuck, has like two front gold teeth, and hes an asshole. but what ever. i once got some noob guy, i had been watiing long, and hes like "Im going to make one extra fresh for you!" and he hooked me up with like the veggies from the bottom of the buckets that were nice and fresh and then when i went to pay, hes like "$6.76" or something and im like, what? its 5 dollars... so hes like "FOR YOU! and only you! and here, have a free cookie too!"

there is a guy a nearby subway that knows how to make a fucking sandwich - always perfect chicken bacon ranch and all that shit. But one day I got some bitch that like squished my bread even before she did the most horrid cutting job imaginable, put like no bacon, fucked up my cheese, fucked up my lettuce, my chipotle and ranch, fucked up the cut and wrapping. I was so pissed.

I think the worst experience was down in susanville, california. Two of us were just trying to get a fuckin sandwich on our way to tahoe, and it took about 30 minutes for them to make the two sandhwiches ahead of us. One of the fuckers just had to mess with bread (and not help) and the bitch was more incompetent than anybody I've ever seen workin at subway. The sandwich sucked too.

But in the end, subway is grub as hell.

I was at the subway in lincoln NH and i had a fat girl, she SUCKED though.  Took 1/2 hour to get the family ahead of us through because they were retarded and she wasnt helping it along.  Then by the time she got to me she looked like she gave up on life and just slaped shit on and called it good.  FUCKIN pissed, it was my first meal other then what you can cook on a whisperlite camp stove in a week

Any sandwich you get in VT is way better than out of state. they fuckin know how to load em up with meat and fixings.  I am so dissapointed in subs anywhere I travel, they only put on like 1 slice of meat...

One time the skinny dude folded the subway bread knife with the orange handle into my sandwich. and the only reason i didn't slice my mouth open is cause' i tried to cut it in half for me and my sister.

[rant]there is a new lunch lady in the cafeteria at my school, and for some reason they decided to put her to work in the sandwich line. I don't understand why because it is the job that requires the most skill and experience. So i ask for turkey, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, and bacon, on a roll. I get a roll, with three massive slices of turkey hanging out the sides, shredded lettuce, tomato chunks, crumbled bacon, and no cheese. all i wanted was a nice sandwich for lunch, but instead i got a not so nice sandwich for lunch. it was most upsetting[/rant]


[rant]my mom asks if i want something from the local pizza place cause she's going out. so i call them up, order her a tuna melt, and get myself an italian sub with EVERYTHING lightly toasted. she brings it home, and what do i have? An italian sub with nothing (no pickles, onions, hots, peppers, lettuce, tomato etc.) and its heavily toasted (edges of bread of black. Waste of my 8 bucks.[/rant]

I've had so many experiences like the OP that I don't go to subway anymore.

Quiznos has better meat, and they always have great deals on their subs.

Hahahaha i know exactly what you mean. Where is live we have this place called Hoagie Haven, they make all these crazy sandwiches and one is called the phat lady its a cheese steak with mozzorella sticks french fries and hot sauce all on the sandwich. Whenever you go there its always the same guys taking orders and its great cause you always know that the guys know how to make your shit, and theyre mostly mexicans and they are great. So I walk in one day to order my phat lady, and see this one little new white guy behind the thing and I just fucking know hes going to get my damn order. So the protocol in making this sandwich is that you put the fries then the mozz sticks then the hot sauce then the cheese steak. So i get up to watch this guy make my sandwich and it was like watching a fucking train wreck that you cant help stop or do anything and its fucking dreadful. First off he fucking putts the hot sauce on the bread them the fries then cheese steak, then mozz sticks and im fucking freaking out. Then to top all that shit off he puts more hot sauce on the top and im biting my hat not to say anything. Then I just have to walk out and eat that terrible soggy sandwich with hot sauce dripping everywhere. Terrible fucking experience. End rant sorry for hijacking the thread this just touched a nerve.

lol, pretty good rant brosi. In my town their used to be a really legit submaker @ subway..he knew all the tricks, and people would go there just to see this masterpeice of him making subs. I would only go to Subway if i saw his car was there, if it wasnt i would go to Quiznos down the block. Then one day he got fired over some stupid ass reason. So i never went to that subway again. About 3 months after he quit, that subway went out of business.

I simply dont understand how people can be such douchebags at making a sub. I mean its not that difficult. But every time i go to my subway the guys put no effort into it and look like theyre trying to make the worst possible sandwhich. sucks balls.

Subway is a solid road trip food.

I downed at least 8 in the last 2 weeks.

I have a pretty fuck up proof sandwhich. I actually have two.

one with tuna and veggies and stuff, which is the bomb. but i like subway on the hill and the tuna gets all soggy.

So I have a back up with Grilled Chicken breast. Also fairly fuck up proof

best experience of my life, my friend who works at jimmy johns was the only one at the store and let me come behind the counter and make my own sub, i put so much meat on that sub that the tab should have been like 20 bucks plus cheese and lettuce (simplicity is key in my opinion)

one time i ordered a meatball one on italian herb and cheese, the guy then asked if i wanted every topping on my balls, asked if i wanted my balls toasting and if i wanted sauce on my balls

was funny the first time but he didnt have to offer me every topping to add on top of my balls and every sauce

B. 20 year old chick with missing tooth
C. 50 year old lady with a tounge ring.

B & C also can't make a sub to save their lives besides tha fact their ugly.
