yeee. its such a good game. Like 3 weeks ago i got 9 beta codes from diff emails and gave some to my friends. The rest i sold on craigs for 1600 microsoft points. and now you can get it on the marketplace. Im pickin up a copy monday night at 5.

looks pretty sick similar gam eplay to cod4 but with sicker weapons like flame thrower and vehicles but i did enjoy the futuristic cod4 vs ww2 cod 5

and fill every thing out except leave the code part blank and you'll get a code in a day or two

in my opinion i will miss the futuristic warefare. i feel WW2 is played the fuck out. however, cod5 seems harder than 4...idk why, just more shit going on, weapons are harder to use. its still fun and all i just wish i could play more levels because its boring as shit right now but i cant stop playing it hahah

the jump back to ww2 kinda pisses me off, i mean cod 4 is fucking legit whereas 3 was brutal. this is made by the same people as 3. but i mean so far 4 of the 5 in the cod series have been far in the past and 4 was one of the biggest hits. if they made a hella long and different campaign, new maps, and lots of new weapons but still same era it would still be sick
i want a modern cod where the campaign takes like 20 hours to beat

So far Treyarch has done an amazing job with this pacific/russian front game. It is essentially the same type of setup as COD4 but in a WW2 theme. So facking good! I really hope they don't bugger up the single player like every other pacific oriented game.

I believe its cause its a different company, that made CoD...its like Treyarch or something and CoD 4 is made by infinity ward...and i believe ( i could be mistaken by this ) but this is just a sub game...i believe infinity ward plans to make a call of duty 5 which will be another future one after CoD4

Ya, I haven't played it yet, but I hope the campain is better.  I play COD4 and beet the campain on vetran like like first couple of days.  Now i just kill it online. Hopefullly COD5 has good online shit.

I'm actually suprised that the series skipped over the Korean and Vietnam wars, some seriously decent games could have been made from that, it just would have been much harder to create.

well, in part because the US didn't "win" those wars, but also i think because of the effect vietnam could have. There are still fathers who served and still have PTSD (shell shock) and you never know sort of trouble even a video game could cause. I don't know if that would be an actual reason, but for now i'd say its at least a factor in avoiding them.

With that said, there was 1 game i know of about vietnam, "Conflict: Vietnam" The company that made it wasn't the best, and the game was terrible. Mostly because vietnam was a closed, guerilla war. There weren't all that many huge battles like there were in WWII. It wasn't fun getting ambushed on tiny trails, and having to disarm trip lines and stuff like that

And i'd say most people just find WWII more interesting anyways

Battlefield Vietnam was a very good good but it avoiding single player campaigns for the reasons you just stated. Don't forget also though that there are still a ton of vets from WW2 still alive today who are seeing the commercialization of their war yet the games are still made.

lies. complete lies. Let me tell you what gears of war consists of:

your running out of the spawn, you see a guy. he see's you. you both slam into a wall (taking cover). then you take turns popping your head up and shooting randomly at him. THATS NOT FUN. honestly every fucking second of that game is someone hiding againsts a wall and popping thier head out over and over.


but the campain was epic. not gonna lie.

Gears of War Online = SHIT

COD Campaign = Pretty Good
COD Online = Awesome.

 The new call of duty is just like the old one but worse guns but better maps . Personaly i dont think they should of gone back to the old wars they should of gone a little into the future , but not like halo but like 2050 that would of been way better. agree ?

this game blows. its basically a mod for cod4, you could do this on pc. its not even polished and most of the levels are shit. the vehicles ruin the game.

imo ww2 weapons are better. harder to kill people, and takes way more skill. im gonna play beta later tonight or tomorrow and monday. does it have a better ranking system like they said it would?

and for those that are still confused about what company is making what game, treyarch and activision merged. the game engine for 4 and 5 is the same, and it is the same company that makes both because of the fact that they merged.
