Tripping while skiing

eastAR5 making some good points in this thread. good trip report too, i know exactly how you feel when youre talking about questioning why kids dress up just to go down a mountain on some skis haha, and the orange suit too. i could see myself laughing at that for a whiiile.

triping while skiing...i think if youre considering doing it you already have enough experience tripping to handle it.  your sense will probly be super heightened, although maybe watch out for depth perception if you try anything crazy, shit always seems a little off to me for some reason.

for poeple knocking on kids whove done this...do your own thing. ive had plenty of completely sober amazing days on snow. i will have many more. sometimes your skiing experience can be heightened by ohter things, and its a fun new experience. to each their own.

skied with some buddies last winter at snoe. down at killington dosed...safe to say i had a fucking blast and it was easily one of my top 5 days ever...bluebird skies, 50 degrees, good friends, good music...

I had an awesome time once tripping with buddies and skiing some pow in really mellow trees, it was more about the adventure than the skiing though, we'd stop whenever we saw something cool, ended up climbing a couple trees and building a fort out of a tree well. It was definitely a nice break after skiing balls to the wall for the past couple months, but I would never do it when there's fresh pow to be had.

don't overdue it. keep it mellow and all will be well.

i just got out of the shower and while picking my nose i realized that a ton of soap bubbles were in my nose without me noticing... you might wanna check your noses

Definitely something i plan to try someday, maybe like 1-1.5 grams on a sunny, uncrowded day. Just crusing around, listening to some good music and taking in the beauty of the mountains with a couple close friends. And dont get me wrong, that is and always will be an awesome time when youre sober, but i think a low dose of mushrooms would be a reallh positive experience.

depth perception isnt an issue...or wasnt for me and my friends...i was able to hit rails, throw backies etc just didnt go too crazy for fear of injury but overall it was awesome...mostly just had fun slayin the whole mountain that day...with the highlight being a killington peak to the base of slylark or whatever the fuck it was...constant weaving in and out of chinese families while tripping is hands down one of the best moments of my life so funny
