so true, id rather watch super 8 over any other generic HD stuff. not that HD is bad (its nothing special to me) but its just that super 8 is so amazingly amazing looking.
i was thinking of dropping like 3500 on a xha1 but im just gonna buy like 500 bucks worth of super 8 film stock.

btw anyone know what camera was used? and what type of film?

HD is amazing and has its place, but there's a certain aesthetic to super8 that makes it seem so much more personal a beautiful.

And I would guess that he was using Kodak Ektachrome 64t just like most people do for color. I still need to get my rolls developed but its a bitch sending stuff to/from AK.

yeah i have 5 rolls of kodachrome 40 but i doubt i can get more since its discontinued, do you know much about 200t compared to 64t? ive had like 3 people say that 200t is probably the best choice.

no idea, I've never shot 200t. I would imagine that 200t is more versatile whereas 64t would look better in sunny weather but more muddy in flatter light.

Landis, I shot a bunch of stuff on Super8 a few years ago. Its been just chilling a dark space but at room temperature. You think this stuff would still come out if it got processed? I figured it may be too late but wasn't really sure.

haha aren't you forgetting something?

film KILLS any other medium for storage; it's better than hard drive, optical disc, or dv combined. Analog film storage is probably the only thing that digital still hasn't even come close to touching yet.

so I would say yes.
