oh and while im on this forum, i have no idea how this works at all but have you tried to get them in some stores? still pulling this out of my ass, but jibij seems like a cool shop that might pick some up from you. like i said, maybe that isnt how it works, but its worth a formal email or pm to see what theyre all about.
Those are pretty dope, not gonna lie...I still think I'm a fan of the sag though, hehe...
"I kinda felt like a dork just now...I was taking a dump butt naked except for my socks, goggles, and a condom beanie while talking to you and trying to open a bag of peanuts": thefilmerguy, on the phone with me
^ it depends like every size corresponds to inches, so the 83 will give you major sag, and the 63 will give you some sag, and the 43 well it will give you sag if ur simon dumont. All of them adjust down so ya u can sag a bunch or wear them on ur waist.
also, as for price im thinking 15 would be a little low as they cost around 13-14$ to make. it might go down l8r tho but for rite now im thinking it might be 16-18$ range
yea also, could any1 help me out with my logo? i think it looks fine, but i kinda want a tagged version and i took a crack at it on my homepage but kinda epicly failed. so whoever wants to help me out, ill pay u. i know some1 out there can do it, ive seen the tanner hall thread.
holy shit, i was thinking of making this product the other day. I kinda planned that i wanted super soft materials so that you could wear it under shirts though. And had thought up the basics of a marketing plan. Good luck seeing if it will work!
that's actually pretty sick. and honestly, 20 bucks for a pair of non-suspenders isn't that bad. ya $15 would be nicer, but just look at how long they take you to make i guess. i might buy a pair. i think black and white would be good standard colours, and id like maroon or like a tan/brown kinda colour. purple as well. if i have time ill try and work on a logo, im not that great at it, but we'll see. so you want it like a graffiti tag?
^ ya a graffitti tagish thing. ok, dont ask for them yet because i havent made them yet or bought dies etc. but colors are purple, light blue, neon green, and white w/ black accents. im thinking most people will dig that as i kinda dont wanna make 50 colors.
this is such a sick idea. My only worry is that the clips might not be strong enough to hold my pants after the impact of landing a jump or something. but ive never handled these things so i wouldn't really know. BUT if if the clips are kinda weak i would consider making the clips attach to the belt loops on the snow pants because that way they will defininitly not come off. just a suggestion and again, this is a sick idea
"collars up are officially gay, but layering 2 polo shirts is still acceptable"
pm me if you would like an invitation to the jokes cult
I'm not trying to bust on you, but they are still suspenders. What you need is to incorporate other features....like a pocket to slide your ipod in, a small zippered pocket for some loot, or your stash, a bottle opener, a pocket for a multi tool. I'm not saying put all those things on them (it would then look like a batman utility belt), but adding something to distinguish them from plain old suspenders.
theyre sag straps, suspenders r 4 old peepl again lol. but ya i like the suggestions but i feel that some of them would make them uncomfortable. im thinking maybe a pole holder strap thing but i dont know how quite to do it yet. they already kinda stand out cuz no one makes suspenders meant for sagging. ill take that in mind though
i mean, i get gaper quotes. they just dont know much about skiing. but "why do they put ski areas on hills?". cmon, cmon!
I agree w/ skifiend I'm not saying that they aren't cool but you should do something different w/them. Maybe make them wider w/ a pocket and aversized clips... I realize that this might make them really expensive and much harder to produce but it would make them way cooler...
As a start up product they are really sick man, it's a good idea and am actually looking forward to buying some when i make it to the US. The price is on the money... You need to make money to make it a legit business and develop the product and future developments. I wouldn't lower it to please the kids on here. They should step up and support skiers creating products for skiers. $6 really is nothing and I'd rather you had it to develop your co. The points above are pretty legit, i like the phone/ipod pocket especially and could see it working out well in the future. But you should get the company straight first, get a legit reputation and website/logo (spelling words correctly pleases me for instance, although the market you are trying to reach is young and steezey you still want to appear professional to companies/shops that come across it). So put your efforts in to this first and then put future products in to development. The initial product is really sick. also, i didn't read anywhere whether you're are handmaking theses or outsourcing it all?
