If me and my buddy are trying to make a film. would a dvx and a fx1 be able to make a video that doesn't look wack?

if you use straight camera footage, it would look weird. if you do some color correction and really think about what you are doing... using them for different sorts of shots, and not just two similar perspectives of the same thing, i think it will be fine... but that's just in my head. granted Im not a film expert, just an art person.

Don't film in HDV on the FX1. The colors won't be a problem, you can edit them in post to look similar, but my suggestion would be if you want to work with your color situation easier is to not touch the CP settings on the FX1, and to set all the colors on the dvx to 0 in the scene file.

I like seeing different types of footage in videos, just don't fuck up the aspect ratio. Nothing pisses me off more than squished shots.
