10 Toughest Runs in North America

I found this article on MSNBC from last year about 10 toughest runs in North America and after checking  the search bar found it hasn't really been discussed. I disagree with several of the runs listed and think they missed a couple but it's MSNBC so I didn't expect too much. Obviously this is only inbound resort runs and not counting any backcountry spots. What do ya think? What would you add?

2. Two Smokes - Silverton, CO
3. Climax - Whistler, BC
4. Keyhole - Alpine Meadows, CA
5. Corbet's Couloir - Jackson Hole
6. Avalanche Bowl to Zoom - Loveland
7. Goat - Stowe, VT
8. Palisades - Sqauw Valley, CA
9. Outer Limits - Killington, VT
10. Mak-M-Stairs-Plunge -Telluride, Co

first off I'm way stoked someone mentioned the black hole because it is the only triple black in the world to my knowledge... hahaha. and also I agree that it's not the hardest trail at smuggs but I would in no way say that it is just like any woods trail out west, especially considering the differerence in tree density between the east and 90% of the woods out west, pretty tight turns

Do you know what line I am talking about.  There are several lines in the Chimney area of Squaw which have brief pitches which are that steep.  They do not maintain that level of steepness for very much time in most cases.

Have you ever read Squallywood?  A guide to Squaw's best lines written by Robb Gaffney, with contributions from Scott Gaffney and Shane McConkey.  They list the steepness of the lines in the book.  They list Pony Express at 65, so I guess I was wrong, but Shmidiots tops out at 67 degrees.  Pony Express is usually a wall of rock, it does not fill in most years.

I suggest you read Squallywood before commenting on the matter.  If you disagree with the degree figures given in the book you can give Scott Gaffney a call.
