I'm just throwing this out there but the chances of apple having a sale are slim to none. They aren't a sale type company. They just make sick shit and sell it for the same price for like 2 years with no price reduction whatsoever.
"When I was a little kid, I kinda had this problem. And it's not even that big of a deal, something like 8 percent of kids do it. For some reason, I don't know why. I would just kinda... sit around all day... and draw pictures of dicks." -Seth Rogen, Superbad
yeah wait. y not get a free ipod? even if your still in high school you can get a student discount just bring in your student id and u get some skrill off. and if u donate an ipod (can be an old used one and does not have to work) through their recycle program you get 10% off any ipod or computer.
This is a non biased opinion. I wouldnt buy one. Too much$$$ for a good model and the software you really need doesn't come with. Most people who own MACs have vista runnin in the background which beats the point of a MAC. Most people want a MAC just for the name and dont think if it will fit their needs. For example MAC air. About $2000 for a basic model which can just do the bare minimum of osx.
1)"the software you need really doesn't come with it?" what software do most people need that the mac doesn't come with that a PC does?(and that you can't get in freeware)
2)"most people who have macs have vista runnin which beats the point of a mac" what point does it beat? having ultimate compatibility with anything you need on any Os?
3)"most people want a mac just for the name" I would say more for the design, and yes the marketing has slowly turned the mac platform into a fad which has pros/cons
4)"for example MAC air" can just do the bare minimum of Osx? what does that mean, the mac air isn't that powerful compared to other laptops, but it is more powerful then most things were 2 years ago, it can handle what 99% of people do on their laptops, and yes you are paying for design and slimness...
I am not saying mac is better then PC, your platform is a tool for what you do on your computer, you wouldn't try to argue whether a hammer is better or worse then a screw driver, it depends what your needs are.
Ehh, F the haters. I got a Mac, not to be trendy, but because it was on sale, gave with a free Ipod Touch ($299 value) and Free HP printer/scanner/copier ($80 value). That is the college deal. The computer itself was $999 (down $100 from apple site and regular price). You'll have to buy Microsoft Office, but they sell it for $64 with the package. I looked around, talked to people there, and this was the best bang for my buck. F being trendy.
But yeah, that's the deal, so if you're into it, go for it.
