okay so this kid and i have been talking about going to windells and how pumped we are for it.  Weve been planning to go for like 3 months and i sighned up and he told me he did.  So i always talk to him about windells and he tells me about like new tricks he wants to land and stuff.  And today my dad got my plane tickets and he called the other kids family to tell them to put the kid on the same flight so we could fly together...the parents of this motherfucker tell my dad that he isnt going to windells because he is going to golf camp. So this douchebag lied to me about how he was signed up and now i have to go alone instead of with a friend.  Sooooo gay.

Dude you meet soooo many people who are wayyy chill, because thats what skiers are for the most part. You shouldn't have trouble having fun and then you can just shove it in his face when you have like 100 new friends who you can shred with whenever they come out to your side of the country or you go out to theirs. It's really not that bad, I went with only my brother and no friends to High North and I met plenty of people...

i know im gonna meet people but it would have been nice to have somebody i know and to talk to on the flight from CT to oregon. and the plane stops in vegas so that adds extra time to the flights.

im real pumped for windells. i cant wait, but i am just pissed at this kid for being an asshole and lieing to me.  Its still gonna be one hell of an experience.  I am very very very very very happy that im going, how couldnt i be? and im not sure why everbody thinks im not exited to go.

You sound pretty uptight for someone going to ski camp.

Listen kid. I had a friend who I talked about moving to Whistler after we graduated Highschool. When I started to realize that the kid wasn't as committed to going as I was, Wasn't putting away any saving and I saw it wasn't going to happen if I waited for him. Did that mean I didn't go?

Fuck that shit, I ended up dropping out a credit short, and ended up living a year on my own in Whistler. During that time I skied a whole season while they finished there last semester of HS. I ended up doing a correspondence course at Whistler night school and actually graduated before my friend. You have to realize you can't depend on other people sometimes you just have to do things on your own, because if you wait for other people to rule your life you will miss out. Be sure to take lots of pictures and talk about WIndells none stop when you get home lol

guys stop giving this kid a hard time he is allowed to be angry at his friend for ditching him its not that big of a deal to be mad. anyways you will have a ton of fun at Windells i am sure. i actually was in sorta the same situation as your friend. i planned to go with a ton of people, but i wasnt allowed. although i didnt say i signed up when i didnt, and they still have a group of 4 without me. but youll have a great time and meeting new people will be easy. they all have the same interests as you and wont make fun of you for liking to ski.. and about being offended by the word fag. i know gay people who make fun of themselves for being gay. they probably dont even care. and how are you offened?

well clearly you don't really know this kid as well as you think. im not gonna hate although its tempting, but seriously out of all the things that could happen to you. your being a fag by whining about this.. there are tons of kids who would kill to be going to windells in the first place.

.so you learned that your actually not as tight with the kid as you thought but if you have even slight social skills and don't blow to hard at skiing you'll have fun and won't need to worry about not having your friend with you at windells.

i went out to Colorado from Connecticut this year by my self. traveling alone is actually a lot of fun. i prefer it to going with people now. youll still have a kick ass time

i had pretty much the same thing happen to me with one of my friends. he bailed last minute and I ended up going alone, and it was the best because I met so many new ppl. dont even worry about it brah, just got have an awesome time.
