Dynastar Warranties?

I broke about a 2 inch piece of the edge off of my concepts while grinding. The piece of edge went under my skis and pushed out the base so it is pointing out about an inch. Will the warranty cover this (i just bought them at the beginning of the year) and what should I do to get the new pair of skis, if I can? Thanks

I bought last years concepts this year and did the same thing...I took them to the place i got them and they sent them in for me and in a few weeks I got repaired ones back because they were last years....Since they're new u should get a new pair or they'll repair them....Take them to the place u got them, or check out the Dynastar.com and see what they have to say

see I took them to a store and they said the warranty would not cover them and they could repair them but i would have to pay what should i do about that?

That store is trying to fuck you, call dynastar and then send them in yourself. MAn I freakin hate the poor ethics in ski shops these days, fuckin tool sheds. You would NEVER see something like that happen at Fanatyk co in Whistler.

my edge is seperating right under the front of my binding. the base is also coming up with it. very weird. i'll call dynastar once the season is over.

I am not sure if they will warrenty skis due to railsiding edge damage. You sure can try. The best would be to call them up. I gave out this number not too long ago on this forum. (802)655-2400 ask for warrenty/repair. Good Luck.

yeah thats bullshit. you were using your skis the right way when skiing, which is what theyre made to do, so that shop should replace them

yea i phoned dynastar they said they do not warranty skis used in aggressive skiing so i am paying 50 for a repair job, hopefully they were fixed good

yah the somae thing happened ot my concepts... the edge fel off but they wouldnt warrnty that because it was from rails.. so then I broke the skis in half (not deliberatly) .. then the warranty worked
