Xbox live help
I pick up a wireless signal in my apartment (someone elses) but when I try to configure xbox live while plugging the cable into my laptop, there is an IP Address Failure doing configuration. My friend told me turning off the firewalls on my computer will resolve this, but it didn't work. Do any of you know what I can do to keep the IP conflict's from happening so that I can set up my xbox live account?
connection might not be strong enough.....?
are you trying to share the wireless internet from your computer to your xbox via ethernet?
Its possible the router blocks the ports needed for Xbox Live. Google is gonna be a huge help for this.
not my router, assuming it's someone elses in my APT building... ne one know how to get around the IP address conflict?
i had that same problem except it was my internet.... i ended up haveing to plug the cable directly into the router (mine is a blue box lookin thing) then it worked perfect..
and secondly, this is my signature bitch!!
