Or just pile it all in one place in Nebraska for a year, then let it sit and turn to dirt for another 5, then just turn it in to a massive ski hill.

I don't know why I'm even responding to this. . . 

but

Burning garbage will put tons of pollutants into the atmo, stuff from plastics and other chemicals and what not.  not to mention the huge increase in atmospheric CO2 levels.

or we could make a giant garbage ball and launch it into space and not worry about it for 1000 years until its trajectory threatens humanity, but thats an easy fix too. just make another garbage ball of equal or greater size and shoot it at the incoming garbage.

Why dont we ship our garbage to Africa? Don't they eat that there anyway. Its a win win.

Actually that is what we do with a lot of our recycleable trash and scrap metal.  My friend used to work for a scrap yard and they would crush and bail bunches of junk appliances and just ship it to china.  Then in china they have tons of laborers who tear the thing apart and pick through it to seperate metals and plastics and such, the bought our junk materials cause they don't have as many raw materials I guess.
