Looking for some really good, actual pro boot fitters in the portland metropolitan area or on the way up to hood. i have really f-ed up feet and really need a really good bootfitter. i've been to us outdoor store, and im not quite satisfied. i found a more comfortable boot on my own, than the bootfitter that fitted me.

if on your way down from hood you go the highway 35 route, you will pass through parkdale right to the side of the road you will see a shop with like fischer and some other brands on the side. This shop is supposed to be awsome, it is however a ski racing shop but the guy suppsedly (many racers and have told me) knows his shit incredibly well, he wont be able to fit you into a spk or anything but talk to him, get measured by him buy your boot at another store and comeback and see him and he will make the boott fit your foot like a glove.

so lets say i had tons of trouble finding a boot to fit. on every single boot ive triend on or been fitted to the outsides of my feet fall asleep and because of my collapsed arches, the bone above my arch gets pushed on and is a pressure point. then i tried on some other boots on my own (spks *cough* cough*) and wore then for 20 -30 minutes and no pressure on the outside of my feet and my feet didnt fall asleep, but the bone above my collapsed arch still has a minor pressure point? think he could easily fix that? and maybe fix a little too much calf pressure?

I am planning on getting a boot fitting at Hillcrest Ski and Sport out in Gresham right there on hwy 26 on the way to hood.
I can't really vouch for the quality yet. But in just talking to guys at the store and on the phone compared to talking to the nozzles at US Outdoor, I am confident that they won't completely suck.
Also HIllcrest has helped me out with mountings when no other store in the area would so I feel obligated to give them some more business.

I realize that eugene is pretty out of the way for you but Bergs Ski Shop has excellent boot fitting and custumization.

im not postive he could fix it, but if anyone can he could.
not sure on the shop name, but drive down highway 35 and the first sign of civalization is the mt hood country store, right across the street (facing south) you will see a bunch of ski signs and thats it.
