My camcorder battery is compeltely dead and when i try and get the tape out i can't. I would charge it but i left it in my dorm room all the way across the country. Are there any tricks on how to get a little more out of a battery or how to get it to work

go to circuit city and best buy with ur cam. im sure one of the cam on displays charger is the same as urs and just unplug it from there, plug urs in for like 2minutes and boom presto tapo.

that might actually work. but if not, you could try heating up the battary, or prying it open. (beware with the prying idea though)

Deffinitly not. Those things get wicked hot. Hold it in your hands for a few minutes. Most cameras manually open the door then the tape ejects electronicly. Just pull out the tape tray.

yeah, mine usually would too but my camera is like 100 percent dead and won't even do that. there's really no way to pull out the tape tray without unscrewing tons of things

i've been to all the stores and none of them have this charger really. they have the camera at circuit city but it's like inside the camera some how and you can't get it out, if i do find the charger buying it then returning it woul dbe a good call though thanks
