Choices rule our life and i have a little story to prove it by
it all started yeasterday when a bunch of other NS kids and I were skiing at one of our friends house, it started to pour freezing rain, so we all agreed that if our schools got canceled we would all go ski togeather today.
so I go home watch tin man and go to sleep. My alarm then goes of at 5 50 am and dragon forces- through the fire and the flame, a turn my tv on to the news to check cancelations and it took like 14 minutes to reach my school showing that it was closed. so i went back to sleep
around 10 i called my friend and he said that we were all going to do this huge gap, so i was really stoked. then after my shower my bro squanto called me and wanted to hang out(hes moving next sunday) so I told him i would have to tell my other buddies and see if there ok with it, and they were.
so i started heading to squantos house i was going about 25 down this road in a town called Kaleva and I was going to turn (i was now going about(10- 15 mph and slowinig down even more) at the turn i hit black ice and slide into this other guys car(the dude was really chill) we were both ok and i called my rents and he called the man. so he told the story to the cop and i totally agreed with the whole thing, the cop tells the other dude that he is done with him and tells me to wait a minute so he can finish up. so the cop is done like 20 min later and i get a effing speeding ticket, for hiting black ice
so i come home and my mom looks at the ticket and calls the dude i got in the crash with, he agreed i was going slow and it was a stupid ticket.
so ine the end my cars front is messed up, I have a ticket, and wish i would have gone skiing instead of driving 45 min to chill with my grounded friend
life lesson
God wants you to ski as much as you can. I see that now. but I am still pretty pissed
