Before you create a thread/post in Build-A-Jib 101, read and follow these rules:
1. THINK about what you want.
Take some time to think about what you're going to make. Draw up some plans of your own - take into account dimensions, materials, cost, etc...
This will take you less time than waiting for somebody else to post some.
2. Search the forum!
There are plenty of posts that already exists in Build-A-Jib that can give you the information you need. These include:
- Instructionals
- Blueprints/Drawings
- Problems and Solutions
- Pictures
Use the existing threads and posts. Do not make re-posts and duplicate threads, as they waste everybody's time.
3. PM for personal questions.
If you have a specific question that is aimed to a specific person, rather than simply quoting them in a thread, PM them instead. This will help prevent the forums from getting clogged up, and will likely provide you with a more in-depth and personal answer than had you asked on the forums.
4. Don't Flame.
If you put a lot of hard work into building something, simply to have people tell you it sucks or that your setup is horrible, it'd probably make you feel like ass. So don't do it to other people.
Please know and follow these rules when using the Build-A-Jib forums. It will save time & effort, and will make it easier for everybody in the cult.
Not following these rules will cause your thread/post to be DELETED.
You will recieve a PM from a Leader telling you if your thread was deleted.
