in order to rock the famous helmet gapper gap....you must be able to pull it off. you need to back it up with solid park skiing. if you dont pack heat i suggest you stay away from it.
however needing to ask this question obviously indicates that you are clearly not ready to pull off the gapper gap. you will feel when the moment is right, give it time.....but im sorry to say that the gapper gap is starting to get played, so it might be too late when the moment is right for you....
skiing is played...might as well just snowblade. That shit's so hot right now.
But in all seriousness...I kind of think it looks ridiculous...it's way too cold to wear a helmet like that haha. If I want to have my forehead exposed, I'll just wear a beanie.
if u weear your goggles under your helmet with a hat i dotn c what soo gay about it i do it and the gaps like 2 inches.. if you wear your goggles on your helmet and dont have ahat on and yourforhead is showing and it looks queer..
then again who the fuck cares
thats the new cool thing, when your getting ready to shred. grab the ridge of your helmet and the top of tour goggles and PULL as hard as u can, repeat this 4 - 5 more times before going out in public
In korea.. its all the rage. I see it increasing here. Gotta have a beanie under there to pull it off though.. and the burnt out don't give a crap attitude. Thats important too.
ive done it once, when i went skiing in my dads gaper jacket, jeans, and a hat so that the gap would show my forehead. i really didn't care because the skiing does the talking in the end. so who cares.
seriously, ive heard that that is where the term "gaper" comes from. that gap. but i dont really mind it as long as they have a beanie under it. i personally dont rock it though
the first pic is a bit much, but the second is fine if u had a hat on...no hat means no gap, hat with a little gap id say is fine, cause often that ends up happenin to me, big gap id say gaaaaayper
i think the only way you can rock the gap, is if your whole style is slob. nothing wrong with the slob style, just like the emo stlye its all preference. you just have to have a huge jacket, baggy pants, sag the goggles so you tilt your head back when you look strait and ski really relaxed almost like youre asleep. thats the only way you can pull off the gap, other than that and you seem like a gaper (pronounced gay-per for those who didnt know).
some people can rock it others can't. If people do they really need to were a beanie under there helmet or something so there hair and forhead aren't showing.
it actually does...
helmets are supposed to be for safety not for fashion. Wear them the way it was designed for and if you fall on your head it might protect you the right way too.
