Mine is because of lake effect snow from Lake Superior, which make my area get more snow than most of Minnesota.

back in freshman year football some kid just called me derb, and nobody really has any idea why, but it has stuck all the way to senior year, and I added a "ski" at the end, both because it is a skiing website, and it has a ring to it.

It was my nickname in highschool that all the cool older kids gave me. I geuss it goes along with the fact that no body can say my last name, Milewski, so people just shortened it up to M-Ski.
