has anyone learned how to ski everyday and still pay the bills?  Any suggestions for some sort of night job or something? i would sell drugs but the cops already killed that dream for me a while ago. thanks kids.

you could get a job at the mountain as ski patrol or instructor or you could move to a different town to deal. or you could deal while skiing.

get a job at a mountain. i work at mine 4 days a week, from 11 till close.  gives me 2 hours in the morning everyday to get freshies, and a hour ride break during the day if i want. plus 3 days off to ski all day if i want, and a cheap/free pass.

instructing wouldn't be bad, cause at leats you can be on teh snow while doing it. Also working at a restaurant on mountain or close to, doing dishes or prep. It's an easy job, although not the highest paying, and usually you can get free food. and/or you can just bust ass at something during the summer and save as much as possible. Construction is pretty good paying in the summer and will also keep you in shape a bit.

I go to college cause i want to better myself .. I want to help people, not just sit around and make stupid statements how college is ruining me and its not my dream, i think its everyones dream to better themselves and the people around them

yo breck you want a good idea, ski during the day, and pick up a waitering job during the night, you make unbelievable amount of money, yeah you need to work some weekends and most weekdays but when your making 200 in a night you will be very happy, in all honesty, i think that is your best choice

If you can ski on weekdays just find a job on weekends cuz a lot of ski shops and stuff want people willing to work weekends and skiing on weekends sucks ass anyways. If you would work like 20 hours a weekend then ski all week that'd be prime... this winter I'm tryin to live off what I saved over the summer, have class tuesday/thursday, and ski all the other days.

Oh and I think i'm gonna volunteer one day a week on the weekends to get a free pass since as I said skiing on weekends is lame and passes are mad expensive in utah.

My buddy just started as the night-auditor at Jackson Hole, only has to work one day a week during the day, but you seem to be against getting a college degree...Good Luck!

teach skiing during the day, work at a restaurant at night my friend was making like more than 1000 a month but he only ever got 5 hours of sleep becuase he worked all night

you realize that everyone goes in the direction of things they hold important, right?
so if you make assumptions about his life, one can only assume that you're going to get some sort of business degree to go on to work for a company that won't do a single bit of legitimate good in the world, but at least you'll amount to something.  enjoy that car.  hopefully it goes fast and pollutes a lot.

OR if you just want to do something right. Say you wanna start your own business and be your own boss and get to chase your own dream... if you go to business school you'll know a lot more about how to run a legit business that the government wont be shutting down, not to mention one that wont go under in 2 years.

the fact is most peoples skiing career doesnt work out.  If you go to college or university, atleast your not screwed after your done pursuing skiing.  
If this guy just wants to be a ski bum then yeah get a job at the resort, but im telling you people with a good education without a doubt have more oppurtunities in life.

the way to ski lots get payed lots is get really good and become a pro but a more realistic idea would be a waiter at a restraunt in a ski town

work at the mountain. the best job is night clean up. its awesome. youre not outside in the hella cold and you can do whatever you want. and the free pass cant hurt either. or the discounts and free bus rides. its such a ballin package......proletariat style!
