whats the difference between k and mm

im not sure whats better

1000mm or 1k

theyre the same. the mm is a measurement, and the k is a base unit, kilo. like centi, deci, milli, etc. and never get any outerwear less than about 10000mm. 1000 will get soaked.

Correct, but the "K" stands for "1000". They arent going to write "10,000mm", its easier to write "10K". yaddamean?

In addition, you should rewaterproof your stuff every 20 ski days or so for best performance, or more if it is raining the whole time.

This entails spraying on some rejuvenater and then throwing the jacket in the dryer, and you will stay a lot drier.

i picked up some of the re-water proofing at EMSyou just spray it on and throw it in the dryer, haven't had to use it on my current jacket yet, just my old one, works really well, make sure you buy shit with taped seems too though
