Well it depends what you use your rack for. If you just want to throw some skis on top of your car it probally doesn't matter what rack you get. I sail and car top my Laser all the time. I used to have a Thule system and the bars just bent over time and flexed like a mutha down the highway. I now got a Yak and that thing is super sturdy. __________________________
I've got a sweet Thule system. The thing to remember is to get the locks, and lock your rack. I've seen both Yakima and Thule racks fly open on the road causing skis to go flying everywhere. And make sure to buy the 6 pair of ski capacity rack. I can just barely get 5 pairs of decent skis in my 6er.
