Whats wrong with me?

Umm, so the other day, i wrecked on my longboard. My pelvis hit the asphalt at around 20 mph... for a while, it was just scraped, then a yellowish bruise came up... then it turned purple, then my skin returned to normal colour. Now, however, right around where i hit, there is this hard(ish) thing under my skin...

Hard to describe, almost like a stale, oversized gummy worm... under my skin...

Anyone else had anything like this from an impact? Could be a hemotoma(sp?) or something I dont know... anyone had this?

if it was in the rite spot it could be scar tissue. i have some thats really small on my palm. you can get it even if its just like a really hard hit, it dousnt need to be a deep scrape even.

nah, its not scar tissue, its def. under my skin... somewhere between the skin and the bone, and its really hard, its weird as fuck...

what ^ dan said. i'm no doctor, but could be just hematoma or a calcium fracture. calcium leaks from your bone and forms a deposit making a lump.

i did the exact same thing to my jaw skiing. its just cartilage and tissue. its in my feet too.

something actually happened just like that to me.
a couple weeks ago i was seshing a rail in my back yard.
the jump to the rail was a small piece of wood stabilized with rocks. a part of one of the rocks was sticking out and the astro turf got slower and i ate and my hip hit the rock so hard. i got a bruise just as u described, and it does feel kinda hard now.

calcium deposite. you may have chipped the bone a little but you probly would have noticed.

its a hematoma mang. i had one in my stomach last year. i crashed on my bike. Basically what it is is a sack of blood thats really hard.

takes a while, depends on how big they are, i had half my blood in one once and it took about a month but i get them a lot where its jsut like a couple days

I had mine for 10 months. Shit sucked. I couldent walk for a week after my fall. My tummy is all better now! Yay!

you have a cyst. not a big deal, I have one on my arm. theyre completely harmless. just a hard lump of tissue beneath the skin. you can go to a doctor if it will make you feel better, but I'm almost positive thats what he will say it is. thats what mine said.

I would like to cut it out with a knife though, just to see what it looks like. maybe if im really hammered.

same thing happened to me i crashed on my mountain bike the docter said it is is a blood clot but that it will go away in time and that its not harmful.  You can get it removed if it is really painful or just let it go away with time.  It sbeen a month and I dont even notice mine anymore.

its definately an organized hematoma. i got one from wiping out on my bike and smashing my hip on a boulder. i had the exact same symptoms. the doctor says just wait and it will be ganoe in about a week.
