PNW pow...just curious

The NW seriously got puked on last yr, I've never ridden pow outside of Utah/Colorado. Could those who've skied Wash/Oregon/BC describe the snow as it compares to other parts of the world?

I'm thinking about road tripping in that direction next winter, heard Baker was amazing last year, what other mtns are known for epic pow days up there?

Lots of moist PNW snow = insane pillow lines.

Its also nice for building kickers.

this was like, late november last year at snoqualmie, 2nd day of the year for me. It was awesome.

that look s awful, that snow must be like cement... and look at all those trees. how could you ever find a clean line in that? i heard that if you try and ski trees in the northwest, all the hippies track you home and burn your house down.

PNW snow = heavier side/wet.

Utah/ Montana / THE rockies = light and dry
