well according to nomesteven the thrusters are super flexy, i would guess comparable to the fugative. i have dumonts and the fell about sot-mid flex, which feels very nice.
this past years dumont is the same as next years thruster, which is wood strip with foam, keeping the weight way down. nex years dumont is all wood. not sure what the flex is on next years dumont or if the thruster will be different from last seasons.
By no means are the thrusters a "noodle". T-halls are more "noodly" than the thrusters. I demoed the 171, and they were really light, quick, agile and fun. I was only like 5'6 and 130 pounds, and at that moment, if i were to buy them, i would have bought the 181 no doubt. such a light, fun ski, and by no means a noodle.
