My ar6s are falling apart

Here's the story, I bought some brand new 07 ar6s in march and maybe rode them for 10 days. Now im not that great in the park but im not a beginner like I can do like all rails, 270s off and stuff and spin on fairly large tables. Since i dont ride that hard i dont think this should be happening to my skis but anyways the topsheet is chipping. I used the search bar and realised that ar6s topsheets are known to chip but mine is chipping really bad and really fast; almost everytime I look down I can see a 2 inch by 1 inch chip of my topsheet coming off. My buddy has ar6s too and hes rode them the whole season and he maybe has two or three chips but for me im talking about down the whole inside edges of the topsheets on both of my skis there is literally no topsheet left. Im wondering if this is a defect or if it should be ok.

and i know its cosmetic but its happening really fast and really easily. I'll try to get pics up soon once i get my camera back if they are needed.
