What'd everyone get on the SATs? I got a 1320, but I've got two more years to raise my score, any tips?

Yep, but also the decider in that situation is extracurricular activities, and they want school activities, - something like camping and hiking doesn't count nearly as much as say school track or soccer.

That and lots of volunteer work, clubs, mentorships, etc.

Actually eskimochick...not true completely. While I would generally agree with you, one of my friends got into a school that I didn't get into. I was in AP Calculus with a C...she was in Functions (pre calc) with an A- I think. I took more APs than her. Did better in the same history class we were in too. Sometimes shit just doesn't work out.

I know people on the admissions board for Middlebury College and they don't really give a fuck about the cheap extra currics like peer mentor and stuff like that because it doesn't mean anything, but if you are like the captain of 900 sports teams, that counts. Some schools don't care about grades really and only SAT scores, I have a friend who did really shitty in all of his classes but did wicked good on his SATs and got into a good school.

Not really. She got recruited to play a sport, but I was getting recruited too for a sport. I guess I just wasn't good enough haha.
