Rastrations anybody? (pics)

i made this today because i got bored, im sure most of you recognize this as one of the recent login pictures. its 6 sheets by 3 sheets and its on my wall right now.

just go here: http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/

its pretty easy to do, just play around with the settings for a while and you get used to it.

I didn't use the rasterbator. I just used paint to print it out. Paint automatically fits it to different peices of paper. Plus I get the edges off so I didn't get the seems showing.

I didn't realize that the rasterbator made it into dots.

Paint just prints it normal.

I used the laser printers at school so I didn't waste my own ink.

^it just prints the picture on like 50 sheets (or however many he used) and you align them so it makes the big picture when its all together.

im actually pretty good with comps...but what do you mean align them?? because i will DEFINATELY do this at school if you or someone could elaborate please...

well basically, you just print it out really big (which you can do on the rasterbator (sp?) program or in paint, but im not sure how to do it in paint). so after it prints you have a stack of paper, and you just go through it and make all of them align so it makes the picture you want (for example, mine printed left to right, top to bottom, so i just placed it all in order and taped them together on the back). just tape it up and your done.

not really (if you use the link i put up) because it makes it into dots. its kinda hard to explain but if you mess around with it you will understand it.

the one i did really doesnt take up much ink because most of the pages are just white, and the color is all in big dots so its not the full page.

sorry for the double post, but the one i did is 6 sheets x 3 sheets and it was done with one of the NS logins, it looks fine (resolution wise)

yay for bumping super old topics, but better this than make a new thread i suppose.
just found out about rasterbater and made one myself
no color printer so it's grayscale
